(8,343 posts)crazy shit. I laughed when I saw your pics of Co Spgs. (I used to live there) There was no snow and I wanted to say, just wait til you get home. Bet you had a good time, though.

(8,343 posts)But not 18 inches over 5 days. Yowza.
It used to snow a whole lot more. In Montana now, in my neighborhood we can easily get 36" overnight. I'm kind of relieved it's suddenly gone from -6F to +14F in about an hour. I could tell it was getting warmer when the snowflakes started getting bigger.

(8,975 posts)I just watched the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen. Jaw dropping. Idaho is a beautiful state. There are a bunch of us here, trying to take it back from the repugs. This HAS been a harsh winter, though. Cheers!
It was a beauty tonight. Lenticular clouds over Bogus Basin. I was at work so I couldn't get a shot taken.

(8,343 posts)I tried but my little camera probably didn't really capture it. My roommate took a few shots that may have come out. And it's STILL glowing red here. Never seen anything quite like it. And I have seen a lot of sunsets.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
