I believe that's one of the names for this moon. And she sure is waxing! The full moon arrives on the 22nd.
It looked pink here. It was very pretty, but I don’t have the equipment to get a good shot, so I settled for just gazing at it. 
Sometimes I think the brain remembers a scene that we couldn't photograph even better than the photo does.
I love it when the moon has a definitive yellow tone like this.
No moon for us last night. Clouds and rain. But the night before, it was a very white moon rising before dark.
I love that yellow tint too. The moon had just risen and so all the atmosphere colors what we see. I love getting that color!
