I left Page that day in May, and it was near 78F. Thirty miles south it was 38 and spitting snow! But got into Tuba City, topped off the gas tank, and bumped on down to my favorite Arizona shot: Coalmine Canyon.

And yes,run into snow there and again on way across northeastern New Mexico and south eastern Colorado. Was able to get photo's of a full moon in Monument Valley with the moon between the spires of the monuments.
