There are times that I google the place referenced just to get an idea of where the photos were taken.
What an odd request. Are you looking for Geo Tag information? And if so, why is that important? I can see someone looking (maybe) for EXIF data because it might be a useful teaching tool. But specific location? Nah.
Don't go by me though. It's just my opinion. I enjoy photography and I don't think I've ever wondered where the exact location of a specific photo was taken.
