It was some sort of gouda, but don't recall which one.

Your eye for composition is what makes these ordinary things so remarkable

(149,924 posts)It's funny; I'm not even aware of how I look for the best composition. I just do it. It's amazing.
I"m still grieving over AndyS's loss and supportive remarks like this one from you really help me feel better.

(87,112 posts)What are those things in the first picture? I like the lighting in #2. I like all the rest too.

(149,924 posts)I have to say that I have no idea what those are! The one thing I do know is that they're flowers, but no idea what kind. Very exotic!
Glad you enjoyed the series!

The light on the lettuce drew my eye and the rest is history!

(149,924 posts)It's the Manhattan Beach farmer's market, which is in my town. Runs weekly on Tuesdays.
It's a fixture in my life!

(32,276 posts)I think my favorites are the spiky pink flowers and the second one of the lettuce. But the radishes (?) are lovely, too. Nicely done!
CaliforniaPeggy
(149,924 posts)Wish I knew what kind of flowers those are. They just amazed me!
The veggies you thought were radishes are really beets! It could be the closeness of the shot that made them look like radishes. I bought some and they're a bit on the small side, which I prefer.
It was a lot of fun, taking all those photos!

(149,924 posts)I wanted a different angle on the berries, and in spite of the swarm of people buying stuff right and left, I was able to get it!
This vendor is very popular and they're always busy!

It was a beautiful sunny but chilly day and a lot of folks were out shopping.
