Ferrara Italy, next to the River Po. I was there the month before the plague hit that region hard.
It was mostly overcast the couple of days I was there riding around the town's vicinity.
The town is very nice with the castle pictured and other old buildings around it.
These are pictures from outside the Estense Castle, 1550ish. I didn't get to get inside because of the time I spent on my bike.
