If you've never heard this stuff, prepared to be amazed. They're rough (admittedly) because they weren't recorded professionally, but they are very listenable. And they reveal the Beatles were a cut above the competition even then. FYI, the opening song, Be-Bop-A-Lula, isn't sung by the Beatles, though that's them playing. But you'll recognize a young John, George and Paul on later songs. This is awesome stuff. I've posted the track list below.
And on a sad note, Ted (Kingsize) Taylor, whose group plays at the end of the tape, passed away a couple of days ago.
