Related: About this forumThe theme of searching for love--3 different stages of Bruce Hornsby addressing the subject
From his first album--On The Western Skyline
"I know she's out there somewhere...."
From his second album--Til The Dreaming's Done
"I sat there all night/Too shy to say/Honey you could keep me from going under"
Much later, with a new band, and with some jazz influence, from Hot House--Walk In The Sun
"Someone come, come my someone/Take the clouds from my eyes, my one...."
He has written such great songs over the years. No wonder such diverse musicians as Huey Lewis, Jerry Garcia and Don Henley have collaborated with Bruce Hornsby to make memorable music.

with Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Brown and others. In college he would play at the school gym sometimes, met him years later at events in Virginia where his family has been active with educational and charitable organizations.

(54,436 posts)3. I've seen him several times as well
Once over 30 years ago right here in Düsseldorf with the Range, the rest was on Cape Cod in Hyannis with the Noisemakers.
Not a bad show even once. Always at the top of his game. A real musical pleasure each time.
