(24,579 posts)He said he was on a good dose of LSD during that concert and during Soul Sacrifice the neck of the guitar took on the living form of a snake he was wrestling with. Having been a frequent flyer myself in my younger days I can see that every time I watch that video.

(14,079 posts)Carlos said they were scheduled for the next day, but because some of the first acts couldn't get to the venue due to the crowding, they were asked to go on with about 30 minutes notice on the first day, just as he was getting off on a hit of acid. I must say he handled it well; as another so-called 'frequent flyer' back in the day, I would have probably curled up behind a speaker and lost my shit.
