Was this recording taken from the session with Dylan and Cash from the 70s?

Btw, I love the Avett Brothers. They grew up about 30 miles from where I live here in North Carolina. I recommend seeing them live.

from the stock one although it may have been recorded at that time. Bob Dylan
is on this too.

I checked the Cd cover and its not dated. Does the video give you any clues.

He recorded this song a few times with June and a couple of other people. I swear it sounds like Dylan doing the backing vocals... Could be the Avetts, cannot say for sure.

I need to buy this Chimes of Freedom CD. Usually I am not impressed with cover albums. Dylan's original songs (for me) are better than any teenie bopper wannabee versions. Each song though that I have heard are really good. This includes Miley Cyrus', Adeles' and Ke$ha's covers; all of three of those recordings were stellar pieces. Guess I need to get out of my snobby Dylan bubble and give it a try.
