If this album had come out 5 years later, when Garth Brooks was big on the country side, and Sheryl Crow and Hootie were big on the rock side, it could have been huge. But twangy roots rock was just not what either mainstream top-40, or the growing college-alternative radio was looking for in 1989.

Enjoyable ride it was. Not always my cup of tea, but surprisingly sometimes exactly my cup of tea.
Fun.
Now, along the way (and very early in the trip, I might add), I ran into this video, and I did a "360" when I thought I recognized who was introducing her.
Is that who I think it is?
EDIT: I did a little more digging, and it's David Sanborn. The voice had me more than half convinced it was Anderson Cooper....lol.
