anderson east - king for a day (studio - 2018)

Dude's got a pretty kickass voice, and excellent band ... a damn groovy, soulful tune, even if it sounds like a LOT of older songs by other artists ... IOW, it's about as 'instantly familiar' as it gets ...

And I sound-hounded it to find out who it was.

Dude's from Athens, Alabama ... and he's linked apparently to Miranda Lambert in some way ... boyfriend, maybe? Or was? I dunno ...

This is another pretty killer tune of his ... again, pretty derivative, but the voice and band put it over nicely ... (definitely hearing Van Morrison on this one) ...
