who had us listen to The Moldau then write about it.
It was my first time hearing it, but I was transported, visualizing little rushing streams and then when the music swelled, I saw a great, wide, glassy river. The Moldau of my imagination, of course...

For some reason, the melody captured me years ago, and now that I live alongside a river, even moreso.
