Watcher

Happy Sunday! Here's a personal favorite, Watcher.

Aves Apoxie Sculpt over wire and tin foil, embellished with glass eyes, stones, a satyr, frog prince, and more! I have to make a few slight repairs, but here's a medium relief, almost high relief piece. About 12" in diameter.

This piece hangs out here in our house.

Just obsessed with creating! I have what I call 'Watcher' dreams, and made this fantasy piece.

Not an artist myself so have no idea, but very impressed. First thought when seeing it was my daughter would absolutely love that piece -- and she is an artist.

I painted this one with acrylics, and then sealed it. I need to repair a few places, and will paint them with oils, and I can go over the rest of it if I want to with highlights or such. The material I used to create this is Aves Apoxie Sculpt, a two part non toxic epoxy. Perhaps your daughter would like to try it!

I will be possibly selling this piece after I repair it. I do love it though, so...maybe not lol.

I'd love to see your daughter's work!

She's a bit androgynous, I think, and at times reminds me of Martin Short

I have dreams I call Watcher dreams - this fits in a way.
