American Picker
Auction Kings
Pawn Stars
Cajun Pawn Stars
Hollywood Treasures (on the syfy channel)

There was one called American Digger for a while -- the crew would go in with heavy equipment and dig up stuff buried under someone's property. Fossils, old stills, etc. It was ugly.

....I went to the site called realitytv magazine to look at their list of hundreds of reality TV shows. None of the shows they have listed is in the arena of antiques, collecting, etc. -- the stuff we deal with in this forum. So I'm not sure exactly what you are considering to be reality TV.

I know that I have seen many many really interesting items even on shows I don't particularly like. Pawn Stars, for one.

It's listed in Category: American reality television series (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:American_reality_television_series).

As the NY Times said, it's "reality television for the PBS crowd."

I also like the storage unit auction shows. Didn't care for American Digger. OMG . . . I need to go find myself a life. I'm also hooked on cooking competition shows like Chopped, Top Chef, etc. I swear I do go outside every day and don't spend 24/7 in front of the tube.

I think Barry on Storage Wars is a hoot. Otherwise, I don't like the characters too much, especially that mean SOB. I don't watch it regularly; just once in a while.

perhaps because they've shown reruns of Pickers, Pawn Stars, and all the storage shows so often that I was just happy to have some content I hadn't seen
