Opinions on selling naughty items

Over the years, we got some things in lot boxes and so on that we just set aside. I'll just say some are mildly naughty, some are mighty naughty. Just imagery, mainly on metal, porcelain. I think about how to sell them, kind of at a loss.

coins, ashtrays, catchall dishes, the bottoms up mugs, figural shot glasses, a peek-a-boo key chain, pens with tiny figures in the ink barrel, until you turn them upside down. Our grandparents had their humor I've got some postcards, and a deck of nude cards.

We picked up a print at a yard sale years ago, a tastefully seminude couple covorting in a field. I got in touch with the artist a couple years ago, and he said he'd love to have the print, because it was some of his early work, so I sent it back to him. He sent me a new copy of the print, signed with a note. I treasure his thoughtfulness, but I haven't displayed it. lol

6. Lost Innocence, Naughty Nostalgia

in one big lot because only a few items will be popular enough to sell individually, but people think they're getting a deal when there are a lot of items. You'll also get bidders asking to separate out an item at such and such a price, and you can try to tweak that number higher and decide if it works relative to the whole lot. Also it will be a lot less work as a lot.

but not sure where I can offer them when the time comes. My booth is in a family place. People bring their kids in.

eBay is by the way failing big time for me. Not even worth my time.

10. My husband and I did eBay together

We were getting tired of the rules for sellers, and buyers getting so many passes. We were using fb marketplace. Since he passed away, I haven't sold on eBay, bought a few things.

Have you tried Etsy, Amazon (sellers?) a shop on TIAS, or auction sites like 1st Dibbs, Mercari, Chairish. They all look interesting, but I haven't looked hard at anything.

I have non-standard products so AMazon is a no-go anymore. The rest of them I'm unfamiliar with. Writing these down for research!

12. When I search for items

like id, age, value, some of those sites pop up regularly. I think people can sell through Collectors Weekly, too. I read email articles I get from them, and I think some of the ads are for sale.

I'm in antique groups on fb, and Talking Antiques has started allowing people to post auctions, and maybe eBay items. I'm trying really hard not to buy anything, so I don't pay attention like I used to.

I was thinking of one more idea, but it slipped away :/ When it slips back, I'll follow up

13. I found some vintage neckties with naked women on them (at a church sale no less)

and sold them in my booth. They went like hotcakes. I wouldn't sell anything I thought was over-the-top graphic or disgusting, but lots of stuff from the early to mid-20th century is funny now. Maybe because it seems so innocent.

14. I remember my Dad had a couple of the ties

He had dozens of ties. This was back in the 50s. He had them draped over metal hangers, and they were hung low enough I could stand and look at them all. I wish I had a couple of his. If they were fascinating to a little kid, bet they'd be even more eye-catching now Thanks for the memory

I think the most graphic are heads/tails brass coins that are explicit. They sell them on eBay.
