It's super fun. There are lots of great instructional videos and lyrics with chord charts online.

Get a Snark ukulele tuner and Aquila strings and you'll be set!

I recommend checking out Chordie [link:http://www.chordie.com/browsesong.php|. They diagram the chords and you can change it from guitar to ukulele tuning to see how to play the chords.
