I've had knee surgery. It was no picnic. The worst part was the physical therapy. It was astonishing at how my leg muscles atrophied after only a few days of non-mobility. It took a about three months to get back to complete confidence in my ability to walk.

"Peg's surgery went well. She spent longer than necessary in the recovery room, because no beds were available elsewhere. Finally bed #2 opened up in a room on the orthopedic floor. She reports that everyone has been very nice. I believe she's in good hands."

I cannot tell you how much your great good wishes mean. I have read them all and I loved them!

I may be going home today but we're waiting on a doctor to approve it. Every day I am stronger and more functional which makes me extremely happy!

Once I get home, I will be using my desktop computer, which will be much easier! This is an iPad which I am not used to.
