4. There are rats like that in Washington, DC

No, I do mean the four legged kind. I've met them in Georgetown, by the river, while hauling equipment out of a restaurant. We were glad there were shovels by the dumpsters to use in fending off the rats.

9. They showed absolutely no fear

We were wondering what would happen if I rolled into one with a sub-woofer or the heavy cable case. Would it stop the road case or just be a bump? Would the others defend it? We decided we didn't want to find out and pushed them out of the way with shovels. We made darn sure none got in the van.

7. Those Are Some

wimpy cats. My 7 lb female cat recently made short work of a rat about that size. There was a struggle with much squeaking and squealing from the rat, but in the end it was a goner and the cat didn't have a scratch on her.
