I'd seen it before, but it was every bit as good as the first time.

Like you, I've seen it a million times.

But seeing it big was better.

It was on TV, my dad and I were watching.

It was the first movie I ever watched without a happy ending.

I cried and cried and cried when my dad tried to explain that sometimes things don't end happy.

Great musical, though.

Great modern take on Romeo and Juliet (of which I was unaware of at the time).

in 1989. They showed 1939 movies for 1939 prices; 25 scents for the movie, 10 cents for popcorn and a nickel for a soda. I saw The Wizard of Oz and Wuthering Heights. They also showed Gone With the Wind, but I had already seen it on the big screen.

There's a company, Fathom Events, that shows classic films on the big screen as special events, as well as ballets, operas and other special performances.
