Crazed Cat Takes Harrowing Arrest Photo After ‘Trying to Kill’ Owner[/font]

"He was trying to kill me," 52-year-old Inwood resident Marta Hevia said of her cat Aqua after the 2-year-old feline went so crazy attacking her that she called the cops. For some reason, The New York Daily News was on hand to photograph the harrowing event.

Aqua shattered a window pane while trying to evade arrest.

The NYPD "elite Emergency Services Unit" ultimately prevailed, and Aqua has been taken in custody. I'd like to imagine he will now have a dramatic trial featuring a steely-but-sassy cat lawyer and wise-and-whiskery judge, but reality will probably be more grim. At least Aqua will always have his badass final mugshot. (NYDN)

Nope, the mugshot would come after the arraignment. Maybe I should have said "the nabbing" UTUSN Apr 2012 #3

I don't even like April Fools' jokes on April Fool's day, much less beyond the day itself. The item seemed pretty disturbing to me. What would make it prankish?

This was just my amateur's way of pandering to the Lounge's cat majority (I'm a Dog person).
