What my daughter gave me on her wedding day:



She gave me a handkerchief. It says: "To My Dad. You are the first man I ever Loved
When you give me away today, know that I will always be your little girl.
Your Loving Daughter."
She had warned me not to get "blubbery", but I almost did when she gave it to me.
So I made a frame and used an old flannel shirt for the border. It now hangs
on my wall.

My brother in law's daughter is getting married next month. For years, his nickname has been "Bubba". Everybody calls him that.

At a family event last week he started talking about the wedding; and, as Dads will do, he got a little emotional.

New nickname...Blubba!
