Loved that song! It came out my senior year in high school, and I named my first car 'Wildfire' after it! (But later I had to change its name to 'Backfire', because that's what it did mostly! 
a real clunker--my grandmother's 1966 Bel Air, with 160,000 miles on it when she gave it to me. That was at a time when it was miraculous that a car made it to 100K....)
I remember Riff somewhat vaguely--wish I had known her better. She seemed to be a terrific lady! May she RIP.
Your car must of been a sweet ride when it wasn't complaining. 
The song seemed to fit the Riff I knew. Glad it brought back good memories for you.
I feel as if I've lost a member of my own family.
She was way too young.
I didn't know her well, but we once had a fun and friendly rival football conversation about the Pats and the Jets here on DU.

I never had the pleasure of meeting her but she holds a special part in my heart.
Did you know she was active in local wildlife rescue? She was an amazing person.
All my love and deepest sympathies to her family and friends. 
Her two sons are younger than I realized. Not out of high school yet.
Their friends have come together offering to help in any way they can. 
DU just doesn't feel the same without her.
