17th century children’s round (Link fixed)

Last edited Sat Apr 30, 2016, 08:02 AM - Edit history (2)

I’ve been freaking out for the past couple of days over some of the unsettling nursery rhymes, stories and songs for children that were popular in days of yore. http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018861578

I came across this (relatively mild, but still!) children’s round from 1600s England on the Internet and couldn’t squelch the urge to sing and record it. Anyway, I like the melody. I’m not a fancy singer and I don’t have fancy recording equipment, but here it is if you’d like to hear it.

It's 40 seconds long.

rounds are fun because you get to try to stay in tune singing against other melodies.
