(22,282 posts)They are very smart cats and have personalities that are more like a dog, in terms of how they interact with their human. Of course, they are also gorgeous.

Good stuff as always - Getting worried there for awhile about your late posting.
What is it about cats ripping out the bottom of box springs and crawling inside of them - they are true assholes, bless them.
Arugula Latte
(50,566 posts)Pretty ingenious, if you ask me! Mine have colonized the entire under side of our king-sized bed.
haele
(12,686 posts)They loved the boxing for the move, but hated the trip over. (we moved them first before getting the movers in, kept them in a spare bedroom during the whole event)
They were so traumatized by the trip in the car we didn't see them for a good week after the move was over, furniture set up, and the spare bedroom was finally opened. There was a blur of fur heading towards the master bedroom, and after a few hours of searching, we finally saw two ambulatory lumps of black and calico in the box-spring underside.
No amount of coaxing would get them out. Two large people sleeping on the bed didn't seem to phaze them at all. Even Friskies and bits of rotisserie chicken wouldn't get them out. There was evidence they sneaked out occasionally to use the litter box in the closet, but other than that, nothing.
However, Princess (the pixie-bob who loves car rides and walks on a leash) gained almost half a pound that week.

(8,175 posts)Too many super duper ones today
Will this polish ever dry? I just have a thing for cats sticking their feet out like that.
The movie Constipation...that look in the second frame is to die for.
You are doomed! Yes, I had an attack goose. One of the best property guardians I've ever had. I love geese and want to get another mated pair.
the baby wombat...Oh MY!
Coffee...that face that face. I hope I never have enough coffee to try to thread a running sewing machine. I'd have to catch it first and I'm not that fast any more.
If I ever get crabs I sure hope they are a pretty purple!
Deer on ice is just a stunning photo! Thanks! So is running stallion with exploding hair.
the dragonfly looks like jewelry made of tiny glass beads.
And your Crystal is so precious...I'd love to see more pictures.
I hope you and Crystal had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are getting ready for Christmas.

(10,005 posts)"Coffee" is a hall-of-famer! Friends and I stop by "Rusty's" race shop occasionally, his (recently departed RIP) dad Herbie's coffee has similar effects! " Anybody mind if I run beside the truck on the way home?"
And the crab! OMFG! Like Neptune and Gene Winfield (inventor of "candy" painting) looeked at each other "Naw! Ya can't.. But we gotta!"
Thanks as always - we've been beleagured and laid low, but crawling upward and onward. And I really do a lot better with the giftwrapping - but it's the ductwork tricks that make it work! from
