(36,063 posts)I'm wondering how well does the feta stick to the melon?

(14,691 posts)watermelon with seeds in the grocery store. It's all seedless. Maybe I'd purchase the seeded kind now (I assume it would be cheaper) - the main reason I didn't eat watermelon back in the day was dealing with the seeds. Now I don't think I'd care anymore but the choice isn't there. It's all seedless.

(36,063 posts)There's a parking lot stand a miler or so from the SOs which always has seeded types this time of year.
My mother never let us eat watermelon indoors because of the seed mess. Outside eating watermelon could turn into seed spitting contests

(28,394 posts)I don't think the texture is the same as the original seeded variety. Those seemed "crisper' and sweeter.... but maybe things just seem better in our memories. I just like it plain.

I'm picky though - in general if it isn't a good one I don't eat it. had a run of mushy ones this summer, so I haven't eaten much.
