Squee! Look who came to visit me!

I think these are juvenile red tail hawks!

2. One of them came closer!

The other flew away (the mom was around; I saw her earlier).

When I saw the mom, I thought it was a hawk. I'm gonna go read up on both & try to figure it out for sure. Thank you!

5. The facial markings are very striking. I hope you get to see more of them.

7. I saw the mom from above & behind, so I didn't see the facial markings.

They hung around for a half-hour or so. I got to hear one of them chirp (or whatever). It was so cute!!
