So my girlfriend and I really enjoy puns. I'd estimate probably 40-90% of our humor is pun-based, depending on the day. We might have a problem.
She recently sent me a greeting card in the mail for no real reason, other than it had a great pun on it. Annnnd I've somehow not been able to come up with a good response so I can send it back, and I'm getting desperate. Help!
Here's the card:

(60,014 posts)"card reminds he of how I miss your tu lips?" (groan, I know)
"It's going fine, bud" (even more of a groan)
That's all my stomach can bear at the moment!

But if I were you, I'd prefer the focus on her tu lips.

(4,446 posts)It's a daisy of a day. I rose early in the violet morning, but just about fell and busted my aster on the sidewalk. My neighbor said, "Orchids - you know, Iris and Heather, those kids, are always leaving their toys out." I thought, "with neighbors like that, who needs anemone?" His wife came out and berated him so fiercely that I thought, "Wow! I can't believe it's freesia show like that - I'd pay for it!" Amaryllis not kidding! She dressed him down and I was, like, poinsetta match! He didn't dare give tulip back to her, either. But I've got to go now - I'm late for work and it's petal to the metal!
