(36,827 posts)They are conditioned to eat the same thing every day and are less apt to try new things compared to outdoor cats, which generally have a more varied diet.

I tell the bearer of the gifts, "they won't eat them" and demonstrate. I bake dog treats about every 4 weeks for them (makes a huge batch).
That said Riley, my Siberian is pestering now as he knows it is "treat time". This months flavor is bacon! Gotta go.
