Anyone for some fresh Hot Tuna?

My wife and I just got back from a concert by them at Payomet in Truro, Massachusetts. Never heard of it? Good! I love small unknown venues where you can actually see great acts close up.

Jorma looks at least 10 years younger than his (almost) 74. Jack Casady does look 71, but both of them still play as if they were half that. They played for over 2 hours, and not one missed note.

We missed Shawn Colvin, who was here before we left for the States, and will miss Arlo Guthrie who plays Payomet 4 days after we leave. I am upset to the point of tears about both, but at least we got to see Jorma and Jack up close, and that ain't too shabby!!

...was this an acoustic performance?

Jorma and Jack are two of my all-time favorites, and ongoing inspiration to keep playing until I drop!

But in this case, an exception is warranted!
