But I would be the guy on the cycle. I totaled one this year, low speed low impact and still good for a trip the the hospital and a pile of bills. I had a left hand turn, so I got in the left turn lane. A renob decided it was time for BBQ and left turned right out of the left driving lane. Going slow, maybe fifteen mph, I ate up the forty feet between us like snap. What a shock. had a helmet, gloves, long shirtsleeves and long pants and it hurt. But no, and I would not have abused the idiot driver of the car though I did tell the guy who pulled in front of me: Nice driving, dumass.
MC drivers are all hung out there. It takes enough to hang back, give yourself reaction time, and keep a sharp eye out for those who do not see you. The guy who crossed my path was on the phone. I could see him in his mirror, so all he had to do was look to see me. And I followed him of the highway off ramp so at some point he should have been aware of me. I was keeping a safe distance. I did everything by the book, and was still got. Well I've done stupid shit too, so I do not have to be so type A anal. Take your chance, and get by them, and wave and say sucks to be you. You are bringing a knife to a gun fight. Even small cars can kill you quick. I know one thing. In America, the possibility of guns coming out does put a premium on civility. Still you see rage. Two clowns killed each other in a gun fight during a road rage incident about 50 miles from here. Ok. More air left for the rest of us.
Hell, if they all killed each other, what a wonderful world it would be.
