San Antonio checking in with 100 degrees and 31% humidity. We hit 100 for the first time yesterday (unfortunately)!

And Texas isn't the only place that has hot summers--and some places routinely have higher humidity that makes the heat much worse to bear.

Getting a better offer right here at home in Iowa with about 75 degrees. At that temp who cares about humidity?

Then it rained and dropped to 91 with 61% humidity. I'm not sure which is better.

Today our AC decided to stop working at full efficiency. When I left for the dentist, it was 82 inside the house. It's now dropped to 78 in the kitchen, probably a couple of degrees warmer here in the library. The AC guy will be here late morning. I hope he can get it fixed quickly! I can deal with warmish temperatures, but I've been running a low grade fever for a week and need to cool off.
