I can only imagine how the poor sods with PTSD feel tonight.

(34,074 posts)i used to have a dog that had a terrible time with this holiday and new years eve because of the fireworks.
have you tried those thundershirts for your cats? i hear they are very helpful.

(8,830 posts)like they've been poleaxed, so I'm not sure if a thundershirt would work . . . or just immobilize them! I appreciate the thought, though - thank you.
We give them Bachs' Rescue Remedy for cats - it's enough to keep them from freaking out.
We live in the desert. It is bone dry here and downright stupid to be slinging sparks around with abandon, but heaven forbid that we don't celebrate our decision to be our own country with explosives.
