The best part, though, is putting the empty box where it can be found near a plate of real Oreos.

(53,339 posts)I used to make my own dog biscuits. I found a recipe someplace, and my dogs loved it. It had things like lard, garlic powder, onion powder, bouillion granules in it.
I had bone-shaped cookie cutters and would send batches to friends who had dogs (with red and green food coloring for Christmas). For friends with dogs who had a weight problem, I even made a low fat version. It was a big hit.

Dogs loving them is not a great selling point though. The really short list is what dogs don't love.
