We got about 18"s or so. It went a bit faster when the young man showed up with his front end loader. He wouldn't even let me give him gas money. Just riding around the village helping
out.

(4,940 posts)The carpenter bees have been eating away at it for years. At some point the
snow on the roof will fall on it. So yes it may not make it through the winter.

(12,163 posts)And I thought we were having a bad winter in the Nebraska panhandle!
I hope you all, including snoozy kitty, stay safe and warm!

She's on my lap right now.

(11,778 posts)I always had dogs and didn't care much for cats, plus they make my eyes itch and water, runny nose and when it's really bad, the scratchy throat. A friend begged me to take a kitten from a feral mom that showed up at her house. I drove 200 miles to get that little Manx kitten and my life has never been the same. I wished I'd taken a litter mate, because I read cats are happier and live longer when coupled. I decided he needed a playmate and added a Lilac Point LH Siamese. *sigh The itchy/watery eyes, runny nose and throat are a way of life now, but I wouldn't give them up for anything!
I even have little black cat shot glasses and kitty wine glass charms. haha

(4,940 posts)what wonderful creatures they are until they have one around. I feel
bad for folks that have never had experience of a contented purring
cat on their lap.

(11,778 posts)I wash our cuddle blankets every two days, vacuum at least once daily, brushing daily, etc... if I remember not to nuzzle, I'm not too bad, but the temptation is crazy strong! lol
