There's also a $4/off coupon with a limit of 2. You'll get 60 bags for 26 dollars, which is decent.

Bless you, the kids in your neighborhood are lucky....if there's any left for them. I have been known to dive into the candy before the Halloweiners had a chance

We're going to take our girl to our friend's neighborhood at the beach where the people are way more into Halloween than they are around here. The past two years we had one poor kid come by the house. Uptight suburbia is no place for a kid on Halloween.

We're all getting costumes and will make an evening of it.

This is a right-wing community where some of the "old guys" spread lies about our Association's common grounds. At least one of them has no compunction referring to himself as a land-taker. To keep the new owners from learning about those common areas (where children can play, and where we could hold Easter festivities or block parties), people are extremely hostile whenever anyone comes near them. They don't do it just to the kids. They did the same thing to my eighty year old dad. It's like a suburban gang community.

Of course, this couldn't happen without the city helping them along, relying on the "old guys" whenever the city needs to undermine the rights of the homeowners. So the lasting impression is that these "old guys" have city support. That's a public relations nightmare that they created for themselves.

The only thing that has changed over the years is the number of young families with small children who have moved in. Hence, Halloween is the only time of the year where this community even has the appearance of being normal.

That's where the candy for vending machines is sold...you'll get a good price but you may have to buy 35-50 bars as that's usually what comes to a case.

If so, try there first...wholesale outfits might only want to deal business-to-business.

so I may have to cut down to one candy bar a bag. We went from having less than five people a year, to forty-five in just ten years.

because I'd likely open the bag and eat a few before the first doorbell ring on Oct. 31
I have in the past given coins or gum when I was serious about not eating what was left - if any- but not in recent years.
