Has this ever happened to you?

You go to a nice place to dine, and they give you asparagus stalks that are too fibery. Discretely, you remove it with a napkin and place the chewed mess on the edge of the plate. You think you've scored a success in etiquette, but then you forget about it and ask the waiter for a doggie bag. It's a nice restaurant and he takes your plate to the back room and returns with your remains in a nice take-out platter.

When you go to eat it the next day, you remember the chewed asparagus fiber and realize that it's no where to be found.

I must have grossed the poor guy out.
