I'm one of only 4 who came in today in the office. I'm the only one in my part of the building, so I've got the classic rock youtube videos going.

I don't like taking Fridays off.

Fridays are the day for me to take stock of the whole week and see if there are any deadlines or anything that I have forgotten to do.
It also allows me to prepare for the next week.

I prefer having Mondays off.

Breaks up the week nicely. But I don't take many days off anyway. I like saving them up so I can take longer Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks.

Just came in from lunch. I was the only worker bee among about a hundred tourists in my favorite little lunch dive.

8. I am at work but it is actually like having a vacation

day, just at work. The phone has only rung once so far. I came in with a set number of tasks that I wanted to complete and was through the list by 11 am.

11. I went. I had scheduled to take the day off,

but I changed my mind because I have so much to do. Now I wish I hadn't. I think my blood pressure must be through the roof. I just don't think I can take much more....

12. I had to work but my boss let me leave early.

I got to leave at 4:45pm instead of 5:00pm.

I had a ton of stuff to do at work. Most of the people I worked with were there.

13. I was one of two people on my row and the two adjacent rows

I only put in about 5.5 hours. I had one meeting and when I left at 3:30 I hadn't gotten an email in over an hour and the phone didn't ring all day. It was great. I got to not take a vacation day and not have to work a full day either.

Because of the work schedule, most people where I work, put in 40 hours well before Friday, so they take off. So we rotate responsibilities for coming in Fridays so the phones are covered.

I picked today because I figured no one would call or come in to buy a license or anything. So I didn't have to do much of anything all day.
