(2,012 posts)Don't think the Beatles ever got around to Blueberry Hill but almost all other great singers did from 1940 to 2007. Written in 1940 the first popular record was by Ray Eberle with the great Glenn Miller orchestra. It became popular all over the world. Glenn Miller went into the Army in 1942 to entertain the troops and his plane was shot down in 1944. He was an alum of University of Colorado; an entire library contains memorabilia and his music, and a ballroom in the student
is named after him.
