And then there was Devo's E-Z Listening Disk

Here's an excellent ambient music radio station: StillStream

and to do it themselves before a studio band did different versions. You can find some of the cuts on YouTube (I'd link them, but it's blocked here.)

5. Okay, now THAT makes sense for Devo. Eno on the other had just seemed to be stoned all to Jesus.

I've done the same sort of thing with my guitars - just pass out on the couch and run through a few chords picking strings individually. It's relaxing. It won't make dinner or anything, but that's what Doritos are for.

6. I've heard the official term for that is called "noodling".

I don't know about Eno being stoned. I think he might have been high on endorphins, especially after working with Robert Fripp

7. "Noodling" - I like that. But hey, Eno and Fripp were both whacked out on drugs for a while.

I haven't heard much of them since the 70's, but I know he worked with Bowie, Fripp, Bruford, Lumley, Manzanera, Byrne, Genesis ("The Lamb" - his credit is listed as "Enosifocation&quot , Belew, and Mu, along with many other bands and musicians. Curiously, I don't remember him performing with King Crimson, but I could be wrong. He's one talented guy. I don't think he does hallusinongens anymore. He's getting kind of old. He has to be in his 60's by now, maybe 70.

9. Not that I know of. How would you explain "In the Court of the Crimson King"'s album cover?

That thing looks like a really bad acid trip.
