Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsBeer lovers of the lounge! What are you sipping on tonight?
I know you're out there!
I'm currently enjoying a bottle of Victory Brewery's "V Twelve" (12% abv). A very nice belgian style ale.
What are ya'll drinking tonight?

(9,077 posts)Have you tried the 80-Acre yet?
MuseRider
(34,109 posts)I will do that. I rarely look any farther than the Wheat since I like it so much. Pale Ale is OK but I really prefer the wheaty beers. Always good to try something new.
I will try the 80-Acre next time if I can find it here. I go into Topeka but you know, Topeka is not big on variety or anything new. LOL. If our grandparents did not need it then we don't need it either, apparently including good streets and forget about water lines .
I will go get some in Lawrence next time I am there.

(873 posts)I was having a bar room hamburger. And a fellow from the local beer distributorship was promoting 2 new beer. I sampled two free bottles!
The first one was Bass I.P.A. It was tasty. Not as bitter as some I.P.A.s that I have tried.
The second was Beck's Sapphire. It was smooth with a 6 percent alcohol content. Apparently, sapphire is the kind of hops used. Tasty!

(14,738 posts)It's a cask beer from a highly under-rated brewery local to where I live.
A lot of people in the UK are banging on about how "session IPA" is the next big thing (although that style never went away). If people want a good sessionable IPA then Whim Hartington IPA has to be the benchmark IMHO. Wonderful beer.
