This ad just chokes me up

It probably wasn't meant to, but it gets to me every time I see it. Must be all those grizzled snouts I've known. I don't spend a lot of time thinking about them, but this ad somehow forces me to. Must be the music, and the excellent canine actors.

Something moving and sad about it...the thing about our pets is that they usually die before we do.

My mom mentioned this commercial to me earlier today, "the one with the dog from puppy to greybeard". She didn't know or care that it was for subaru

The adult dog has in the middle when the couple kiss...as if the dog is thinking "enough already...lets get outside and play"

I have an 11 yr old lab mix with a grey muzzle and it seems like only yesterday she was just a gangly 6 month old we rescued. Ok she is still gangly and at 80#s still thinks she is a lap dog.
