4. I was trying to forget that memory

Saw video of massive flooding. A woman jumped from one building to another, assisted by others who had thrown her a rope. She tried to hold the rope one-handed and jump across holding a dog in the other but dropped the dog when she lost her balance. The dog was swept away in the flood waters.

6. How sad. There was something I watched as a youngster, that I still

don't understand. Two men trying to escape from a second floor fire. They hung from the window sill, and one by one they dropped and they both fell in the same manner. They landed on their feet but fell backwards with their head banging the ground. Each one, exactly the same way. They both died. The news replayed it over and over again. I just couldn't understand how senseless it was.
