(38,449 posts)The view from Glacier Point, looking down over 3200 feet to the valley floor, is one of the most
magnificant in the entire United States. It is not this view, perhaps someone can please put that up...(I don't know how to ..)
Looking out over at half dome from Glacier Point is incredible.....
I was in awe when I saw this as an adult, and hope all can see it.
5 hours outside of San Franciso/Oakland is this park..a true national treasure........

(7,819 posts)valley. Insane. Went on a full moon weekend and the valley and mountains beyond were lit up like daytime with gleaming snow.
I have a couple of epic photos but don't know how to post either!
For those wanting that kind of adventure, should be good to do that (through the lodge, I think) through early March. Highly recommended.
