Be very grateful for that money and please stop this.

Like you, I live in PA. The economy here is booming and you know that. There are jobs everywhere. Since you’re disabled, there are companies who would love to hire you. Remote or in person. There are an avalanche of remote customer service jobs. Almost every pharmacy and hospital has remote jobs. No Uber excuse.

Your mother, we must guess, is the owner of the home. You filed bankruptcy during one of the last fundraisers. Your mother will be the one who will need to handle any financing of her home.

One thing I’ve never understood-you don’t live on 100 acres. You live in a fairly suburban area. Have you alienated all of your neighbors? There isn’t a community I know that would ignore a very ill elderly woman with a disabled son. They would drive you anywhere. They will band together and provide you with hot meals. The handy people would fix the small issues of your home. They would drive you to the doctor or pharmacy. People out there are good.

Sometimes tough love is needed. You’ve received thousands of dollars from the awesome people here. Be grateful for that and continue doing what you claimed the last time. You were earning money playing online games. Use that internet to search for “remote jobs near me”. It won’t take as much time as beating the next level.

Good luck to you.

In this years'-long money-grab: not using the Medicaid dentist, and constantly saying you need food and not arranging a meals-on-wheels. BTW, with one social worker interaction, I now get MoW.

You've added a third: what is up with the neighbors?

You think I enjoy doing this? Every time I have posted I have been in need of help. If anyone wants, they can contact me. I have nothing to hide and will gladly show proof as long as the info isn’t too personal in nature. I can’t see a lot of the posts because they not only have ganged up on me but others also. So I use the ignore feature. I felt I had to set the record straight on this one. People can choose to donate or not donate. They don’t have to act like they do. I know if I had the money I would donate whenever possible.

Have been given to you. People have done the work you should have done. You have phone numbers to call, websites to click and addresses for help. All are ignored.

It really is a shame that you rely upon donations when jobs are so plentiful right now. Remote jobs. You can care for your mother while earning much needed money.

Governor Shapiro posts his phone number. That’s a place to start. But you won’t.

Instead, you pretend to ignore anyone who dares question why you don’t avail yourself to the help offered.

You claim to be willing to offer proof of your financial calamity, but when asked a simple question, such as “did you visit the food bank” that question is ignored. “Where is your social worker?” Ignored.

Some continue to donate, hey ten dollars won’t hurt anyone. That’s great if they want to, but at this point, I’m afraid it appears you are simply taking advantage of good and generous people.

He obviously has a few sympathizers, including the person who donated $10. They might feel it’s only $10, what does that hurt? Understandable. People want to help those in need. If that was a real person and not his own money. Keep in mind, this fundraiser is only posted here. Could he have others posted on other sites? Likely.

I also feel he has nobody on ignore. If he did, why would he mention it in a post to others? Why would that matter? When you ignore someone on social media, they never cross your mind.

Anyhow, in this economy to not even try to get a job is truly mind boggling. Here in PA, if you want a job, you can have a job. Employers are pretty desperate for workers. They are accommodating employees like I’ve never seen.

IF any of this is true.

Seeking employment. I told him contact the PA Dept of Vocational Rehab. They will train, coach, provide assistive devices free ( hearing aids) and help place him in jobs. Of course, I'm sure he did that asap. Not.

All free. They do everything but do the actual job they get you. I remember, in a past fundraiser, him mentioning needing new hearing aids.

Is there a social worker? Are low-cost rides being utilized? No more expensive Ubering?

A poster named Treehugger compiled the most-comprehensive list of resources for him. Ignored. It's always meeting the goal. DUers are so kind and generous. That it's come to this says a lot. Hell, I donated a large amount before I became disabled. But ignore, deflect. But I agree. I don't think anyone is on official ignore.

You can apply for most jobs online from the comfort of your home. I don't know a single person who ever died or got sick due to a job application allergy. My youngest son is bringing home over 300 bucks flipping burgers a few days a week. If he can do it, there's no reason you can't.
