... and for over ten years on DU. If you knew him, you'd understand he is a gentleman who's suffered some serious losses and has one of the gentlest hearts here.

I know he's distressed for the upset this has caused you.

I worked at a deli and this weirdo guy kept coming in, asking for my table and always ordered the liverwurst. (Eew) He showed up at my car one night aftrr my shift and tried to get me to go out with him. I had to maneuver my way into my car, start it and floor it. I was a kid and he must have been about 40. We didn't know about stalking back in the 70's, but I quit my job and thankfully never saw him again.

I know no harm was meant by marble, I just had to speak up though. For others who've had this nightmare experience.

I can't imagine how frightening it was for you back in the day. I am glad you found your way through. It's hard to believe what was acceptable to most people back then. And even harder realize that maybe without the same frequency, it still happens.

means of their users personal information out...i expressed my opinion that i wouldn't be doing that and why i wouldn't be doing that...back in the day on yahoo political chat someone threatened harm to my kids...i reported the person to both yahoo and the cops...i was over a 1000k from where my kids were so they weren't in any danger but still for a adult to threaten kids was eye opening.
