2. It's nice when churches are converted to functions that are actually useful,

like providing shelter. Otherwise, they're mostly just facilities that push stupid Bronze Age anti-science, women-hating patriarchal mythologies that don't have a shred of connection to reality.

3. There's a lot of land taken up by useless churches.

Maybe it's time to turn the screws and make them prove they're useful something other than fleecing the gullible on Sundays and use the for something that's actually beneficial to society, like housing?
