Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI am receiving countless phone calls to switch Medicare plans. They will end on December 7.
One of the letters from one of the companies said.
.."The Medicare Annuel Enrollment Period ends December 7th 2023. "
Because these companies get "LOTS OF MONEY WHEN YOU SWITCH PLANS"...THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO DO.
I'm on some kind of list that someone sold that states that I am on medicare, and that is why I get these phone calls.
Just to let everyone know, the calls will stop when December 7th passes in about 15 days. I
wonder if anyone else is getting countless calls?
That is all I know today...

(8,648 posts)I dont answer unknown calls, so I dont know if I get them from Medicare Advantage. Plenty of mail, though. I just called United Health to make sure my two doctors are still on the same plan,

(3,689 posts)all these calls and mailings would have given me a clue. No body puts that much energy and money into something that isn't going to make them a lot of money.
I only signed up for Medicare Advantage for the $300 or so monthly savings in my case.
