Ask me anything.
Enjoying a Kahlua Toreador tonight. Brandy, Kahlua, and an egg white.
First week went well. Mostly learning the new EHR system. My schedule also included shadowing. But thats for novices right out of school.
I conferred with the other providers on their cases. We exchanged clinical pearls. Learned a lot from each other.
And left early.
With my new employer, when your work is done, you go home. No need to hang around looking at the clock.
Im very happy.
I love you all

(24,902 posts)I grew up with my Uncle being our GP (50s). Loved the guy, except when I had to see him for shots. Jesus Christ, those heavy gauge needles were awful. Anyways, I moved from one system in So. Maine, to a different healthcare provider in Central Maine. The efficiency of both healthcare systems really amazes me.

Whatever, it's wonderful to hear that your new workplace is less stressful in some ways yet agreeable in important ways for you.

The MA who led my medical team until 2018 is at my new clinic. Ran into him twice this week. If we can just bring over his successor, who led my team from then until just a few months ago, well be an unstoppable force.

(114,192 posts)that you are happy. Cannot wait to try the drink.
Prosecco or viognier with roast turkey?
The fruity notes will complement the Thanksgiving meal perfectly.
But open it right before drinking, and drink it all, before air exposure ruins the body, and causes an acidic finish.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
