I am not referring to the issue described but only the wording of the headline. Without reading the article below, can anyone explain what those words say as they confuse me. Was this written by an idiot or is it just me? I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the universe (after all, some stars are brighter than I am ).
This is the actual article:

(3,358 posts)Either that or they were shot with guns. It's more likely they got real drunk as alcohol is slightly more plentiful than guns these days.

(7,029 posts)the man who killed a student. There, now it is pellucidly clear. 🙄

(9,789 posts)I agree with you the headline could Ive been much better. Apparently, whoever wrote the headline didnt have ann editor above them reading behind them. Which is unusual.

(6,162 posts)The situation is just as fucked up as the headline.
This guy, Shaquille Taylor, has shot at all kinds of people. He shot at one family, the Workmans, but killed no one. He shot at another woman, Jillian Ludwig, and killed her. Ms. Workman and her mother are now speaking out because Taylor was arrested when he shot at them... and then released. Now Taylor is being arrested again, but while Taylor was out, he approached Ms. Workman and she was terrified and angry because no one told her that Taylor was out.
No mention of how he got his guns. It really should be legal to confiscate guns after someone is arrested for using them. But the Supreme Court just shot that down...

But?? Man shoots at people, yet presents no danger to others?? WTAF???

(26,633 posts)a man who was subsequently arrested for killing a student in a place called Belmont. After the man was arrested, the family issued a statement of some sort.
But I'm not at all confident in that interpretation; it's a terrible headline...
